Las investigaciones en la Educación en Química en la actualidad

En la presente investigación se realiza una caracterización de los espacios disponibles para publicar los resultados de las investigaciones en educación química en revistas que sean reconocidas por su calidad, y se caracteriza el comportamiento de las publicaciones sobre esta ciencia en Scopus. Se identificó un total de 10 689 publicaciones vinculadas con la Educación en Química, de las que se tomó una muestra de 2000, asumiendo un error muestral menor al 1%. A partir de la muestra tomada se identificó que las áreas de investigación más trabajadas son las relacionada con la educación y las aplicaciones prácticas y, en menor medidas, la vinculada con la física. Sin embargo, las investigaciones de química orgánica e inorgánica resultan escasas. De igual modo, resultó positivo identificar la existencia de una amplia red de colaboración en las investigaciones entre diferentes países, aunque se observó que, de los 98 países que formaban parte de la muestra, en cerca de un 25% no se encontró vínculos entre naciones para las investigaciones. De igual modo, se corroboró el hecho conocido de que las investigaciones se concentren en las naciones de mayor desarrollo económico como: Estados Unidos de América, Reino Unido y Alemania
