Abstract

The construction of an interdisciplinary method for the exegesis of the New Testament, specifically to analyze the gospels, is a current challenge for biblical science, which implies: recognition of the sources, collaborative work between the various modern disciplines and, the most important thing is to define the methodology so that it is interdisciplinary enough, with the greatest scientific rigor, that leads to the double objective of the recent Christology: to look for the historical Jesus - his historical movement and environment - and establish the itinerary of today's Christian, who meets daily with the Christ of his faith - the church and the current world. The key is the method and the challenge to consider is the construction of one that integrates the disciplines most related to the context and text of the object of biblical study: the New Testament writing.
