Methodological and technological bases for the professionalization of the subject Construction economics

The objective of this article is to present the methodological and technological bases that contribute to the professionalization of the Construction Economics subject as part of the educational teaching process in the civil engineering career. These proposals were based on a complex investigative process that contemplated the revision of plans study of the civil engineering career from various universities. The pedagogical contributions of computer programs such as the Moodle platform in the field of virtual learning were also valued. Finally, the authors carried out a descriptive analysis that allowed evaluating the most representative elements in the training of civil engineering students at the University of Holguín. As part of the results, a setback was detected in the teaching of the Construction Economics subject. Therefore, the development of a new study program for the subject with an integrative and holistic approach that helps the professional training of civil engineering students has been suggested
