Abstract

Social networks are key tools for communication in many areas, including education, in which they are used for awareness campaigns regarding various problems. Talks and training on Bullying are necessary within the educational community, however, the traditional way of doing it is causing little assertiveness. This is why this research analyzed the use of Social Networks to raise awareness about the consequences of bullying in fifth-year EGB students from the “Las Juntas” educational unit. The approach was qualitative and the type of research was field-descriptive, the survey and interview were used to collect data from a sample of 22 children in the fifth year of EGB. The main results show that 59.1% of students do not like the traditional form of training, while 90.9% prefer content on social networks about Bullying. In this way we can conclude that students maintain a positive attitude towards the use of social networks to carry out education and bullying prevention campaigns, which also indicates that they prefer to consume content during their free time from these media than from traditional media
