Abstract

The objective of this investigative work was to establish methodological strategies to strengthen learning in logical reasoning for Tenth Year students. The methodology was quantitative, with a quasi-experimental design and a descriptive type of study. The sample consisted of 31 students from the Tenth Parallel Year “B” of the “Sergio Núñez” Educational Unit, a pre-test, an intervention proposal and later a post-test were applied to them. As a first result, an average of 7.03 (AAR) was obtained in the pre-test, later in the post-test an average of 8.36 (AAR) was obtained, that is, the proposal to apply a guide with methodological strategies contributed significantly with 13.3% in the development of logical reasoning in students. Finally, it is recommended to apply strategies that are necessary for the improvement in the teaching-learning process and increase several alternative solutions, either group or individual, and in such a way achieve significant learning.
