Ámbitos de negociación de la evaluación institucional. Una aproximación teórica

The objective of this article was to analyze aspects and theoretical foundations of the negotiation areas of the institutional evaluation of the HEIs of Ecuador present in legal documents. Methodologically, it was carried out under the qualitative paradigm, using the technique of documentary and information analysis. Access to legal documents and their selection was carried out by ranking significant terms or keywords, according to the institutional evaluation category, dimension of negotiation areas and properties: methodological, ethical and political. As a result, two tables were presented where the theoretical aspects implicit in the documents analyzed in relation to the negotiation areas are highlighted. In conclusion, the first of the documents (LOES) contemplates the three areas of negotiation of the institutional evaluation, while the regulation of the Council of Evaluation, Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education only contemplates the methodological and the politician.
